Introduction to the Speaker:

Rencheng Wang is an Associate Professor of Accounting at University of Melbourne. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Accounting from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2013. He holds a M.A. in Accounting from University of Michigan and a B.A. in Economics and Management from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Before joining University of Melbourne, he was on the faculty team at the University of Queensland. His research interests are financial accounting and corporate finance, including corporate disclosure, executive compensation, managerial attributes, audit quality and pricing. His research has been published in leading accounting journals, including The Accounting Review (TAR), Journal of Accounting and Economics (JAE), Journal of Accounting Research (JAR).
