In this semester, Guo Rufei, a teacher from Economics and Management School of Wuhan University, taught two courses, namely “R Language Data Analysis Methods and Experiments”,which mainly focused on programming and “Optimization Methods”, which mainly focused on drawing and mathematical deduction. It is not easy to master these two courses through the Internet. A large number of calculations and formulas, as well as drawing and modeling, all put higher demands on the teaching process. As a bonus,he has also lit up a new"skill point" by using OBS to record videos. Later,he recorded several videos of R problem solving in OBS and uploaded them to bilibili.

When preparing for the course,Guo Rufei found that for the course "Optimization Method",which required drawing and mathematical deduction,it was not enough to share PPT only by using screen sharing.Guo found the big whiteboard at home, where she taught her children to draw.In this way,he points the camera at the whiteboard during the class and deduces the formula on the whiteboard, so that he and his students can feel like they are in the classroom.

Guo Rufei found it troublesome to switch between the big whiteboard view and the screen view.To solve this problem,Guo Rufei studied OpenBoard and Inklet.He used them together and turned the Mac's trackpad into a writing pad. However, a big problem with handwriting is that it requires a condenser pen. In normal times, it is not difficult to solve this problem, but during the epidemic, capacitor pen can only rely on himself to solve the problem. He spent a night before the class to study how to make a capacitor pen.Finally,he modified a water-based pen with cotton swab and tin foil and made his own condenser pen successfully.By dipping a little water before each use, he could write on the Mac trackpad.
