From October 19 to October 22, the Asia Pacific Annual Meeting 2020 ofThe Associate to Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)was held online. Li Xinxin, Guo Lijing, Zhang Yujie and Gong Yuqin from the external liaison office of our school attended the meeting.

The annual meeting covered 12 keynote speeches, 4 group meetings and 3 data analysis demonstrations, was held simultaneously in the two venues. The topics cover all aspects related to AACSB certification, including lessons learned and development of global uncertainty, how to maximize efficiency, digital transformation, how to reduce risks during the COVID-19 pandemic, how to increase participation, examining teaching quality assurance data and tools for continuous improvement, quality diversity and partnership building, teacher qualifications, and social impact ——opportunities and challenges, industrial cooperation and peer cooperation, challenges and opportunities after the COVID-19 pandemic etc.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Businessfounded in 1916, is the world's leading non-governmental certification body for business schools and accounting programs. Since 1919, AACSB has been promoting higher management education accreditation. AACSB education accreditation system is recognized by the whole world to be strict, high standards, which is the important symbol of business education to reach the world level.

It is reported that AACSB certification was officially launched in 2014. After a series of self-assessment, report submission and self-improvement, the overall construction of the school has been fully recognized by certification experts. At present, with the support of school leaders, teachers and students, the external liaison office is actively preparing for the upcoming on-site certification. This online meeting will be helpful to our school's on-site certification work, and help our school fully understand the new AACSB certification standards and rules, and prepare for continuous improvement.(Editor: Gong Yuqin,Luo Yu)
