Recently, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Science Work announced the list of major projects approved by the National Social Science Fund in 2019. The project "Research on the Reform of China's Electricity Market Institutions and Mechanisms under the Background of the Energy Revolution" declared by Professor Fang Debin of our institute was approved.

In the context of the energy revolution, Professor Fang Debin's project is guided by the construction of a "clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient" modern energy system, and aims to solve the major practical problems of the reform of the electricity market system and mechanism. Market-oriented operation-green development-modern governance "to study the reform of the electricity market from the perspective of the" three-dimensional integration ", taking the development logic and new strategies of the electricity market, the electricity market institutional mechanisms and policy paths as research content, by revealing the electricity market The development logic and the new requirements of the energy revolution for the power market, systematically research and explore power market-based trading, green development, and modern governance systems and mechanisms, and innovate policy systems and implementation paths. It is expected to form a power market trading system that restores the attributes of power commodities. The low-carbon transition mechanism and mechanism to promote the green development of electric power, and the government governance mechanism and mechanism to optimize the efficiency of electric power allocation, provide systematic theoretical innovation and policy references for the reform of the electric power market institutional mechanism in the context of the energy revolution. The research of this topic is of great theoretical significance and practical value to promote the healthy and sustainable development of China's electric power market and the high-quality development of the economy and society.

Professor Fang Debin has chaired 7 national projects including the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund Project, of which the post-assessment performance evaluation of the National Self-employed Youth Project (2016) is "excellent", and the research results have been awarded outstanding results of scientific research in universities ( Humanities and Social Sciences) 1 third prize (ranked first), 2 provincial and ministerial prizes (ranked first). The major projects of the National Social Science Fund are the highest-level, most-funded, and most authoritative project categories in China's philosophy and social sciences at this stage. They represent the country's highest research level in this field, and are also important indicators for evaluating scientific research capabilities of universities.
