01 Professor LI Yanping

Professor Li Yanping pointed out in the report that many companies are facing the challenge of getting out of the negative effects of the epidemic, also the challenge of reopen and resuming business operation. Professor Li proposed a three-step recovery plan to the corporate human resource management. First, set up a special management team force, so that corporate functions can be carried out in an orderly manner, and bolster confidence of employee in company development. Second, formulate a special human resource management plan to ensure and maintain the stable employment relationship during this challenging time, send a positive signal to employees that employers and employees will overcome the hardships together. Lastly, establish indemnification for the special human resource management plan during this hard time, including technology guarantee, human resource guarantee and corporate culture guarantee.

02 Professor LUO Zhi

Professor Luo Zhi pointed out in the "Recommendations on Poverty Alleviation Work in Hubei During the Epidemic" that the severe epidemic has greatly increased the risk of people who have been lifted out of poverty return to poverty. In this report, Professor Luo gave out ten suggestions to the government, including provincial level dragnet-style investigation, ‘one household, one policy’, prioritize local employment, timely and effective arrangements for medical treatment and etc.

"Policy Recommendations on Converting Jianghan University and other Student Dormitories of Universities in Wuhan into Makeshift Hospitals to Increase the Treatment Capacity of Patient infected with COVID-19" written by Professor Luo Zhi (collaborated with Associate Professor Xiao Guangen) suggested that government should convert dormitories of universities in Wuhan to makeshift hospitals to cope with the surging number of patient infected with COVID-19.

Recently, two more reports from Professor Luo Zhi got published by The Paper and China Business News, "Hubei Enterprise Operation Analysis Report during the Epidemic" and "Strengthen Both Epidemic Prevention and Development: Policy Recommendations Based on Hubei Enterprise Operation Analysis Report in the Epidemic", these two reports put forward good suggestions for speeding up the deployment and resumption of production, Professor Luo then received special interviews fromYicai(China’s leading media) andZhishifenzi(China’s leading media)for the publication.

03 Professor WEI Wu

Professor Wei Wu hosted an online forum on "House of Public Welfare" platform to discuss the survival of small, medium and micro enterprises under the epidemic crisis with other expertise in the field. The forum mentioned that in the current epidemic, small, medium and micro enterprises are facing various difficulties, and their survival has encountered an unprecedented crisis. In the long run, the fundamentals of China's economy will remain stable and positive, temporary epidemic can not weaken the vitality of enterprises. The first priority of small and medium-sized enterprises now is turning the crisis into ‘safety’, which means, to survive during the pandemic; secondly, turning the crisis into opportunity, which means, to actively seek for chance of improvement; Lastly, turning the crisis into ‘muscle’, which means, to develop. The forum also put forward some suggestions for SME transformation, innovation and marketing.

04 Professor WU XinMu

Professor Wu Xinmu directly gave advice to the decision makers of the Wuhan Government and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology via SMS and online channel on key issues such as "How do we view this epidemic? What should we do?" Professor Wu suggested the government to "Prohibition of sales, embargoes, bans on hunting and fasting of wild animals", also pay attention to "the negative impact of the overwhelmed health and care system", alleviate psychological pressure of people in lockdown city "Closing up Wuhan is for the world’s victory of the fight against the virus" and etc. Some of Professor Wu’s advice was adopted and applied by the Wuhan government and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

05 Professor XIAO Guangen

Associate Professor Xiao Guangen and Professor Luo Zhi collaborated on two consultation reports during the pandemic. The consultation report “Fighting against virus, protecting people’s livelihood, preventing SMEs from bankruptcy are the first three priorities for current Wuhan” puts forward feasible solutions on these three main issues for the local government. Associate Professor Xiao Guangen's "Research on the Impact of COVID-19 on Chinese Export Companies and International Trade Environment" was admitted as the first batch of projects approved for the "Fighting COVID-19" Humanities and Social Sciences Emergency Research Project of Wuhan University.( Editor: Guo Lijing,Luo Yu)
